Each basket is woven by skilled Ugandan artisans using sustainably harvested palm raffia wrapped around coils of bukedo (banana leaf stalks). Originally crafted for serving food, these versatile woven bowls are now perfect as decorative wall baskets, fruit bowls, tabletop centerpieces, or shelf accents. Every basket is handmade under fair trade principles, helping preserve traditional weaving techniques while supporting artisan communities across Uganda.
