Each basket is handcrafted using sustainably harvested palm raffia wrapped around coils of bukedo (banana leaf stalks). Traditionally woven for serving food, these versatile baskets have evolved into beautiful decorative pieces that celebrate Uganda's rich artisan heritage. Every purchase supports fair trade artisan communities while helping preserve generations of traditional weaving techniques.
