Each basket is handcrafted by skilled Ugandan artisans using sustainably harvested palm raffia wrapped around coils of bukedo (banana leaf stalks). Originally woven for serving food, these versatile baskets have evolved into beautiful decorative pieces that work equally well as wall baskets, fruit bowls, tabletop centerpieces, and shelf accents. Every purchase supports fair trade artisan communities while preserving generations of traditional Ugandan weaving techniques.
Available in Small (12") and Large (16"), the warm neutral palette complements modern, rustic, farmhouse, bohemian, and organic interiors. Display one as a statement piece or pair both sizes together for a layered artisan wall display.
