Each basket is handcrafted by skilled Ugandan artisans using sustainably harvested palm raffia wrapped around coils of bukedo (banana leaf stalks). Traditionally woven for serving food, these versatile baskets have evolved into decorative pieces that beautifully function as wall baskets, fruit bowls, tabletop centerpieces, and shelf accents. Every purchase supports fair trade artisan communities while helping preserve Uganda's rich weaving traditions.
