Each basket is handcrafted by skilled Ugandan artisans using sustainably harvested palm raffia wrapped around coils of bukedo (banana leaf stalks). Traditionally woven for serving food, these versatile baskets have become beautiful decorative pieces that work equally well as wall baskets, fruit bowls, tabletop centerpieces, or shelf accents. Every purchase supports fair trade artisan communities while helping preserve generations of traditional Ugandan weaving traditions.
