Handcrafted in Uganda, this fair trade basket brings organic texture, earthy warmth, and artisan craftsmanship to gallery walls, dining tables, kitchens, and thoughtfully curated home décor.
Each basket is handwoven by skilled Ugandan artisans using sustainably harvested palm raffia wrapped around coils of bukedo (banana leaf stalks). Originally woven as functional serving bowls, these versatile baskets have become beautiful decorative pieces perfect for wall displays, fruit bowls, tabletop centerpieces, and shelf styling. Every purchase supports fair trade artisan communities while helping preserve generations of traditional Ugandan weaving techniques.
Available in Small (12") and Large (16"), the neutral palette complements modern, farmhouse, rustic, bohemian, and global-inspired interiors. Display one as a statement piece or pair both sizes together for a layered artisan wall installation.
