Our fair trade, delicately handwoven shallow basket is made from hand dyed Kinkahe grass and comes with two pointed handles!

African baskets like these are ideal to use as fruit bowls or bread baskets, for tabletop storage of remotes, keys and more, and/or as wall art. They also make perfect housewarming or occasion gifts. All our bowl baskets come with a hook to hang as wall decor.

Kinkahe is a zero-waste, renewable, sustainable, and biodegradable that can be harvested multiple times a year and does not require pesticides to thrive. Kinkahe is a natural grass with properties similar to other eco-friendly materials like bamboo and hemp.
